Anunciados os indicados ao
ENNies World Awards 2017
Na
última terça-feira foram anunciados os indicados ao Gen Con ENNies World Awards
2017. A votação pública ocorrerá entre 11 de julho (próxima terça-feira) a 21
de julho, com apresentação dos vencedores na próxima edição da Gen Con.
Olhando
a lista de indicados percebemos claramente algumas coisas. Das 22 categorias
apresentadas Pathfinder e D&D estão concorrendo apenas em 1 o primeiro - Best
Miniature Product – e 2 categorias o segundo - Best Miniature Product e Judges’ Spotlight Winners -encerrando aquela
hegemonia que temos visto nos últimos anos. Particularmente acho isso
sensacional. Quando dois pesos pesados como esses concorrem em sua briga
particular pelo mercado em muitas categorias, isso acaba por apagar outros
ótimos produtos.
A
lista deste ano nos apresentam ótimos trabalhos e colocando em evidência não
duas, mas seis editoras com produtos finais de peso. A John Wick Presents, vem com
sua linha 7th Sea concorrendo com quatro títulos em seis categorias, incluindo Best
Rules e Prodcut of the Year com o 7th Sea: Core Handbook.
A
Green Ronin também em seis categorias mas com sete produtos diferentes em mais
de uma linha, onde eu destaco o Cosmic Handbook e o Atlas of the Earth-Prime, ambos
da linha Mutantes e Malfeitores, nas categorias Best Suplement e Product of the
Year (respectivamente), e o maravilhoso Blue Rose, na categoria Best Art Cover.
A
Pelgrane Press concorre em cinco categorias com dois produtos onde seu
Timewatch está concorrendo em quatro delas, sendo Best Game uma delas. A Monte
Cook Games chega concorrendo em quatro categorias com seu Torment: Tides of
Numenera – The Explorer’s Guide, incluindo Product of the Year. Temos ainda a Pinnacle Entertainment Grupo com seu
Rifts: Game Master Handbook concorrendo em Best Rules e product of the Year.
Para
encerrar temos a Chaosium, com incríveis indicações em dez categorias, onde os
destaques estão em Doors to Darkness concorrendo para product of the Year, Pulp
Cthulhu concorrendo para Best Suplement e Call of Cthulhu – 7th Edition
Slipcase set concorrendo à Best Production Values.
