Mas temos algumas surpresas interessantes. As que mais chamaram a atenção, com indicações merecidas, foram Mutante: Year Zero – The Role Playing Game e Horror on the Orient Express, figurando em várias categorias. A franquia Doctor Who, da qual sou um inegável fã, também concorre em quatro categorias, incluindo cardgame. A linha de Pathfinder veio mais fraca nesta edição devido a não ter lançado nada tão significativo nas principais categorias, concorrendo fortemente com seu interessante suplemento Pathfinder RPG: Pathfinder Unchained.
